This special series of concerts will be a true homecoming for founding member and lead guitarist, Mick Jones, where fans will see why it Feels Like The First Time, when Foreigner’s performances include their unforgettable anthems I Want To Know What Love Is, Juke Box Hero, Waiting For A Girl Like You, Cold As Ice, Feels Like The First Time, Hot Blooded, Urgent and That Was Yesterday.

Says Mick Jones, “I never could have imagined when I set out to create Foreigner forty years ago, that we’d still be touring around the world and performing the music we love all these years later. I can’t express the gratitude I feel when fans share stories of how our songs have been woven into their milestones and memories over the years.”

As for playing the legendary Royal Albert Hall for the first time, says Mick, “Playing at The Royal Albert Hall has been a childhood dream, as one of my earliest memories was attending a Gustav Holst concert, mesmerized by Sir Malcolm Sargent conducting ‘The Planet Suite.’ To perform with my band at this iconic venue decades later is a true honour.”

Foreigner is a formidable musical arsenal that continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, with ten multi-platinum albums and sixteen top thirty hits. Foreigner are one of the most popular rock acts in the world, with album sales now exceeding 75 million. Responsible for some of rock and roll’s most enduring songs, the band continues to rock the charts more than thirty years later. The band recently released a new 10” vinyl four track EP The Flame Still Burns, and the 40th Anniversary celebrations will continue with the release of a 20-track album 40 on 12th May which contains the band’s biggest hits. This will be followed a week later with a double album of the same name, tracing the four decades long history of Foreigner. This exciting May 19th release will contain new songs as well as all of the much-loved hits. A vinyl version is coming on June 2nd.
