Following a string of sold out and critically acclaimed headline shows in 2016 (including a raucous show at Electric Ballroom) Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes announce a full UK tour for 2017 in support of the highly anticipated album Modern Ruin, finishing at London’s Koko, his biggest venue to date.

Modern Ruin was mixed by Catherine Marks (Foals and Wolf Alice) and recorded by Thomas Mitchener, the band’s former touring bassist in his own Broadfields Studio, and is quite possibly Carter’s most pronouncedly accessible and fully fleshed yet. Tracks like Acid Veins and first single Snake Eyes, are rough and raw, brutal and pummelling, potent reminders to people that a Carter live show is still one of the most vital and breath-taking experiences one can witness. But then there’s also the stirring, majestic sweep of Wild Flowers and the stunning closer Neon Rust, over the twelve song span of Modern Ruin, Carter’s particular vision is celebrated fully and without cliché.

Modern Ruin is released January 27th on International Death Cult/ KLS.
