One of the world’s most distinctive singing voices, Michael McDonald, five-time Grammy Award winner and formerly of The Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan and a member of super group The Dukes Of September, is proud to announce his first UK solo shows in eight years with three dates in March 2018, which takes in Hammersmith Eventim Apollo on March 15th.

Michael McDonald, who tours extensively as a solo artist in the US, recently released his first new album Wide Open in nine years, and his first set of original material in 17 years. The album finds him collaborating with a number of special guests including saxophonist Branford Marsalis, guitarist and singer Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule), guitarist Robben Ford, bassist Marcus Miller, Amy Holland and David Paich, to name a few…

“Returning to the UK and EU is long overdue. I really look forward to reconnecting with fans and the opportunity to perform music from my new album and classic hits” said Michael McDonald.

In July 2016, Michael McDonald received the prestigious award of being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
