We are over the moon to share the line-up for Moseley Folk 2017 with you all. As promised we have kept within our Folk, World and Roots remit and have managed to bring in some of the biggest names from these genres.

We are overjoyed to finally be welcoming Laura Marling to Moseley Folk! We have been trying since the first year so we’re delighted that Laura will be joining us following the release of her sixth studio album; Semper Femina. Laura will be joined on Sunday 3rd Sept by Kate Rusby, Roddy Woomble, Lankum (formerly lynched), The Furrow Collective, The Destroyers, Mike Heron & Trembling Bells, Alasdair Roberts, Marry Waterson & David A. Jaycock, The Standing Wave, Fenne Lily, and Jess Morgan,

On the night before, Saturday 2nd Sept, we have two headliners! We are huge fans of Jose Gonzalez and have been trying to bring him back to Moseley Folk following his headline set in 2008. He will be playing an extended solo acoustic set which we think will be unmissable. After Jose has finished we’ll be joined by a heavyweight of the Folk World which will be announced a little further down the line.

They will both be joined by Birmingham’s own (Birmingham, Alabama) Shovels & Rope, Josienne Clark & Ben Walker, Michael Chapman, Trembling Bells, Throws, Kaia Kater, Laucan, Laura J Martin, Scott Hirsch, Dave Kusworth and Izzie Derry.

On the opening night, Friday 1st Sept, we are delighted to be welcoming another female headliner to our beautiful Moseley Park. Amy MacDonald has sold millions of records since her debut LP This Is The Life in 2007 and her latest album Under Stars went straight in at number 2 in the album charts!

Amy will be joined by The Magic Numbers, Courtney Marie Andrews, John Moreland, Nadia Reid, Nap Eyes, John Pressley, Ren Harvieu, Diabel Cissokho and Matthew Edwards & The Unfortunates.

We are delighted to have such a diverse line up of Folk, World, and Roots heading to this year’s Moseley Folk Festival!
