The Charlatans have announced details of a full UK tour for 2017. Kicking off at Nottingham’s Rock City on November 29th the band play eleven dates in total, taking in Brixton Academy on December 9th before finishing in Belfast on the 11th. The band, Mark Collins on guitar, Martin Blunt on bass, Tim Burgess vocals and Tony Rogers on keyboards will be joined by The Verve’s Pete Salisbury on drums

The band has released their new album, Different Days which features an array of special guests including Paul Weller, Johnny Marr and New Order’s Stephen Morris and is already receiving rave reviews. Q described it simply as “a wondrous record” and first single Plastic Machinery went straight on to the A list at 6Music.

“We love playing live, our last tour was my favourite we’ve ever done and I’m thinking these dates might be even better. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone” said Tim Burgess.
