Indie-pop wunderkind Will Joseph Cook has announced the release of his debut album Sweet Dreamer, alongside the biggest tour of his career so far, including London’s Heaven on the 11th May 2017

The Tunbridge Wells native has also unveiled the video for Beach (I Wanna Make You Mine, a new recording of a fan favourite track first released in 2015, which to date has had over 3.6 million streams worldwide. The video sees Will on the run from the law in a Bonnie & Clyde style chase, with a twist!

Currently rounding off a few weeks on the road as main support for Sundara Karma, Will has also announced his biggest run of headline shows to date, including London’s Heaven on the 11th May 2017. The tour kicks off in Glasgow on 2nd May, and takes in Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Cardiff, Bristol, London and finishes up at The Bullingdon in Oxford on 12th May.

Sweet Dreamer is thirteen songs of technicolour indie pop, fully formed by Will himself across lyrics and music over the past few years, acting as a diary of sorts of his adolescence and teenage years. The record was recorded in London, with production duties from Hugh Worskett and Bombay Bicycle Club’s Jack Steadman (with additional production by WJC himself). Perfectly formed pop songs such as Treat Me Like A Lover see Will shifting a gear, perfectly mixing his knack for intelligent, often heart-wrenching lyrics, with the pop sensibilities of Talking Heads and MGMT.
