Biffy Clyro were nominated for Best British Group at the 2021 Brit Awards, losing out to Little Mix. The nomination recognised the success of the band’s latest album, A Celebration Of Endings, which became their third consecutive number one and featured the singles Instant History, Space, and Tiny Indoor Fireworks, all of which hit key playlists at Radio 1, Radio X, Absolute and Virgin. That was the third time that Biffy Clyro have been nominated in the category after 2011 and 2017.

The band commented, “We are over the moon to have received our third Brit nomination. It’s was an honour to be nominated among so many great artists and bands, especially during such a tough time for everyone. Thank you to everyone who voted for us. We hope to see you all very soon”.

Biffy’s intimate Fingers Crossed tour has also been re-scheduled to commence in late October and is entirely sold-out. Meanwhile, the band’s 2022 summer festival schedule is taking shape with the news that they’ll headline the Sunday night at Download.
