Following the internationally-acclaimed release of her debut album last year and sold-out dates across the US, Australia, Europe and London, imminent pop star Chappell Roan will return to the UK this September for her largest international headline shows to date including a landmark night at London’s Eventim Apollo.
Chappell Roan has supported Olivia Rodrigo on her Guts World Tour, with arena shows across the US and Canada alongside her own headline shows throughout, with sold out shows up to 4,000 tickets.
The return to Europe for the Midwest Princess Tour scales up her intoxicating live show experience even further. Already featuring opening sets from drag queens and with each night incorporating a different dress theme (like “homecoming dance” and “goth, grunge, and glitter”), the ecstatic shows have earned universal praise for Chappell’s exhilarating performances and for creating a “glamorous safe space,” and “disco dance party where everyone can feel like the most fun, the most free version of themselves,” in rooms bursting at the seams with energy. Additionally, a limited number of tickets will be awarded as show “scholarships” for fans facing financial difficulties in an effort to keep attendance affordable and shows accessible across the wide-spanning tour.
The Rise & Fall Of A Midwest Princess is a courageous, semi-autobiographical statement allowing Chappell Roan to continue to connect with her growing fan base by championing open and honest expression of identity and unapologetic sexuality. With her bold pop hooks, sex positivity, honest song writing, and expressive style and spirit, she has already earned press nods from NME, Pitchfork, NPR, MTV, Polyester, Vulture, Billboard, V Magazine, Rolling Stone, Teen Vogue and more. Last year, Chappell was named Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Artist of 2023, and is currently MTV’s Push Artist for March 2024 as well as being a Vevo DSCVR Artist to Watch for 2024.
