UK Grunge pop band Hands Off Gretel have announced their seventeen date UK summer album tour for June and July.

“If you are a fan of Gwen Stefani style swagger or Nirvana-esque grunge, then you are going to love Hands Off Gretel” says Classic Rock Magazine.

The band self released their sophomore album, I Want The World, earlier this year on their own label, Puke Pop Records. They celebrated by selling out both album launch shows, including Nambucca in London and they continue to get rave reviews on their new album from across the country.

Industry tastemakers ‘This Feeling’ have tipped them for “big in 2019” and Spotify have included them in their #HotNewBands playlist. The band have also been getting a good amount of radio airplay since the release with John Kennedy Radio X who chose It’s My Fault for their Track Of The Day. Steve Lamacq also played Big Boy on his Recommends Show on 6 Radio.

Four of the singles released from the album have also been played frequently on BBC Sheffield Introducing, Planet Rock and Kerrang Radio.

Hands Off Gretel are a sassy alternative grunge pop band from South Yorkshire. The band is Lauren Tate who is the lead vocalist and guitarist, guitarist Sean Bon, drummer Sam Hobbins and bassist Becky Baldwin.

They have bounced back from the Pledge Music crisis stronger than ever, with the fan base really getting behind the band when crowd funding platform went bust earlier this year, taking all their fans money for pre-orders. They quickly set up their own label and have distributed over 2,000 albums through their website alone.

There is certainly a buzz of excitement around the band at the moment which they now look to take on the road.
