During lockdown, Paul Weller also known as the mod father of soul released his latest album, Fat Pop Vol 1 which was his sixteenth studio album. From the album he released Shades Of Blue, a dramatic three minute pop symphony with a distinctive piano riff and soaring tune. It is a family affair as it was co-written with Paul’s eldest daughter, Leah. Paul wrote the verses andLeah added her input to the chorus.

Fat Pop Vol 1 comes in just under twelve months following June’s 2020 magnificent chart topping On Sunset. During spring 2020, after his tour dates were postponed, he needed something else to focus on. The result was Fat Pop Vol 1.

He is now touring the album and has announced dates in November and December. He has also announced dates in March and April 2022.
