The London-born singer began her journey into the music scene through university talent shows where her unique and soulful voice was quickly recognised as something special. This was the start of the dazzling journey that Harnett has already embarked on within the R&B scene. The rising star’s music career has so far seen her collaborate with world-renowned producers like Disclosure and Kaytranada, sell-out venues and surpass over 100 million streams for her single If You Let Me on Spotify alone.
Now based in LA, Sinéad Harnett’s music is true autobiographical storytelling of her background, upbringing, her experiences with lack of confidence and self-worth and the process of healing that she endeavoured. Born to a Thai mother and Irish father, Harnett proudly represents and harnesses her roots in both heritages crediting both of her parents for the traits that have made her the person she is today.
Each story that Harnett shares, reveals another sonically intricate glimpse into her reflections on life and her experiences. Her 2019 debut album, Lessons In Love, began this journey into introspection as she discussed themes of self-worth and the patterns of her relationships. Her sophomore album, Ready Is Always Too Late, continued in this vein and garnered critical acclaim from industry giants like Khalid, Miguel, Elton John, Demi Lovato, Ella Mai and collaborators with celebrated artists such as Masego, Vanjess, EARTHGANG and Lucky Daye.
Harnett’s latest album Boundaries is her most personal and heartfelt project to date. Delving into the experience of healing from childhood trauma, Sinéad eloquently narrates navigating through pain and finding her love and passion for music in the process.
