Solihull Summer Fest 2021 has been given the go-ahead and will celebrate its fifth year at Tudor Grange Park on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September.

Opening a fun filled Saturday will be The Blow Monkeys with front man Dr Robert. Treating the fans to some old hits including Digging Your Scene, It Doesn’t Have To Be This Way and Wait they will also be showcasing songs from their new album, Journey To You.

Funking up the line-up will be the UK garage duo, Artful Dodger who had seven consecutive UK top twenty hit singles from 1999 to 2001, many of which will be given an airing. Brand New Heavies will follow with their hits Midnight At The Oasis, Getaway and You Are My Universe.

Up next will be the 2008 X Factor winner, Alexandra Burke. With her hits such as Hallelujah, Bad Boys, Elephant and Let It Go, she will undoubtedly have the crowd singing along.

To round off the day will be Olly Murs who has released six studio albums and has an astounding back catalogue of songs to delve into. Hits such as Please Don’t Let Me Go, Thinking Of Me, Heart Skips A Beat, You Don’t Know Love and Moves will see Olly end which will be a fabulous Saturday.

Sunday will see Pat Sharpe do a DJ set before From The Jam begins a day filled with nostalgia. Nick Kershaw will get the fans on their feet with the likes of Riddle, Wouldn’t It Be Good and I Won’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me. Up next will be the unforgettable ABC who will deliver songs from their 1982 album, Lexicon Of Love.

Kim Wilde will keep the tempo going with her hits such as Kids In America and You Keep Me Hangin’ On, before Spandau Ballet’s former front man Tony Hadley brings the Festival to a close with sing alongs such as Through The Barricades, True and Gold.

Throughout the weekend, the second stage will be hosted by Heritage Presents with an historic and educational journey through the world of quality dance music from the golden US and the UK era of the 1990’s. This will include an amazing line up of DJ’s including Shades of Rhythm, K-Klass, Alistair Whitehead, Jim Shaft Ryan, Brandon Block, Phil Gifford, Andy Sax and many more Heritage resident DJ’s.

We have rescheduled and confirmed an incredible line-up and ticket sales since confirming 2021 is happening have been overwhelming and are fully on course to sell out. We are working closely with Public Health England and Solihull Borough Council and cannot wait to welcome everyone to a safe, fun, incredible weekend of much needed live music and entertainment.”
