ShareThe Sherlocks are on a roll, the Sheffield indie favourites having smashed a massive homecoming show at Don Valley Bowl, bounded across Europe as guests to Keane, confirmed to support Shed Seven on a 23-date tour of the UK and then announced the release of their new album Everything Must Make Sense with its lead single Man On The Loose. Keeping that momentum flying, The Sherlocks have announced details of a major UK headline tour.
Vocalist and guitarist Kiaran Crook says, “Delighted to be back out on tour once again across the UK! It feels like a lifetime ago since we were last out playing headline shows and by the time we come to play these gigs it will have been well over a year, which for a band like ours, is actually a crazy amount of time. 2024 was the first year ever in Sherlocks history that we haven’t toured. We love playing live. That’s what we do! When you come and see us you know you’re going to watch a proper band. These days there’s not so many of us ‘actually’ playing live so we’re all buzzing to get back out there and show people what we’re all about. Our fans know the score anyway, they come to our gigs for a good time and they feel more like a party than anything else.
The new tunes are gonna sound mega live and hopefully we get around to playing a big chunk of the new songs as well as the classics! The set list is starting to feel like a greatest hits set these days which is always nice as you progress through the years with more albums worth of material.
