Seb Lowe has announced a string of UK tour dates for November and December 2025, following the release of his latest single, Dogs & Cats. He will perform in Glasgow, Manchester, London, Brighton, Bristol, Nottingham and Leeds.
Seb Lowe and his band recently took to the stage at some of the leading UK festivals such as Truck Fest, Y Not Festival and Neighbourhood Weekender where they performed on the main stage. These landmark performances mark a significant milestone in Seb’s live career and demonstrate his growing audience.
Building on that momentum, Seb’s latest single, Dogs & Cats continues to showcase his sharp lyrical voice and genre blurring style. A playful yet insightful track, it explores the theme of sexism through a metaphor of favouring dogs over cats. The single gained over 20,000 streams in the first day and surpassed over 500 thousand social media views displaying Seb’s ability to connect with his audience.
On the new single, Seb says:
“Our recent single, Dogs & Cats is inspired by a comment I saw online, which linked public perceptions of cats with internalised misogyny. At first, the song speaks to the general favourability towards dogs over cats, paired with common associations between the feline and the feminine, and the canine and the masculine. Though as the song goes on, it addresses the contrasting qualities people find in dogs & cats; dependence vs independence, warmth vs cold, the cat’s solitary nature vs the dog’s comfortability with human contact etc. Here, cats begin to represent qualities in women which a misogynist would not value, and vice versa for dogs. The acoustic snippet I posted online seemed to resonate, so we took it to the studio and turned it into a catchy, strangely uplifting, post-britpop number. You love dogs, but you hate cats’ is a message to the hateful from those who’ve had enough of them.”
Seb Lowe is a rising British indie star at just 21 years old, leading a band composed of Kate Couriel on violin and Joel Goodwin on drums. Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of artists including Sinead O’Connor, Led Zeppelin, Arctic Monkeys, Eminem and David Bowie, Seb’s music reflects a blend of their influences.
While his songs tackle pressing issues such as societal injustice, politics, sexism and more Seb’s wit, humour and melodic sensibilities ensure they are delivered with nuance and accessibility. He values the power of words to spark meaningful conversations, even among unlikely participants.
Seb’s journey began during the pandemic when he found a platform on TikTok showcasing his talent in 60-second clips. Despite initial reluctance, he embraced the opportunity to connect with audiences in a new way. Now, with an audience of over 500 thousand and nearly eleven million likes, Seb’s TikTok presence has become a significant cornerstone of his career serving as a testament to his ability.
Seb Lowe is on the path to becoming the voice of a generation.
