Derby is not the only place that the Summer Sessions will be taking place. A number of artists will be appearing at Bedford Park, Chepstow Racecourse, Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Showground, Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park, Plymouth Hoe, Southampton’s Guildhall Square and Stirling’s City Park.

On 12th July the artists performing in Derby will be Caity Baser, Jax Jones and Becky Hill. On 13th July Kezia Gill, The Selector, Gabrielle and Tom Jones will take to the stage. To round off a fabulous weekend of music on 14th July will be Deco, Lightning Seeds, Rick Astley and Madness.

Becky Hill has been a hit machine since her teens; the pop powerhouse has forged her own particular path to fame. As successful as a songwriter as she is an artist, as fierce behind the scenes as she is on stage, as credible as she is commercial, the 27 year old has become one of Britain’s most successful musicians entirely on her own terms.

Only Honest On The Weekend, her years in the making debut album, is both Becky as you know her and as you’ve never heard her before. It arrives on the heels of the gold selling Get To Know (a collection of her singles or songs that she has written and guested on) which turned the writer of ten top forty hits (including eight platinum records) and a singer with over 1.75 billion streams on Spotify, into a household name.

For over six decades Tom Jones has penned timeless classics including Its Not Unusual, She’s A Lady and Sexbomb, selling more than one hundred million records and continuing as an esteemed and influential figure in the music industry.

Sir Tom’s career has been filled with numerous honours and accolades, including a deeply cherished knighthood from Queen Elizabeth 11 in 2006, multiple Brit Awards, a Silver Clef Award, the Music Industry Trusts Awards and a Hitmaker Award. He has cemented his place in music history as one of the most successful artists of all time, traversing musical eras and genres and appealing to all genders and ages.

The quintessential British Band, rooted in Ska with a pop flair, Madness has been a fixture in the UK music scene since the late 1970s. Known for humorous lyrical storytelling and blending ska rhythms with catchy melodies, they’ve carved a unique niche in the music world.

Hits like Our House and Baggy Trousers are synonymous with their quirky and upbeat style and have cemented their status as one of the UK’s most beloved bands, with a legacy that continues to delight fans of all ages.
